Thank for the link, may be a bit more elegant than I was looking for (which is a cheap one time mod).
What I need to know is if the thermistor temperature co-efficient is positive or negative, or even better (I can be lazy, yes) which part to change on the control board to bias things colder?
I see from the repair manual the 'good' resistance is 7-10 kohms. With a wide range like that no wonder temperatures vary between units!
