Does your element work from the 110v outlet made for the refer or is it another outlet that you used to test? When I tested mine with an ohm meter it showed good, when I used another outlet it would also get hot but would trip the GFI inside the MH when I plugged it into the outlet made for the refer. A new element solved the problem. Have you looked inside the MH for a GFI outlet that my be tripped?
