Refurbished Champion Generators

Looking for opinions on the refurbished Champion 2000w inverter generators? I know warranty would be a concern but does anybody out there have any experience good or bad with the purchase of one? The price makes them tempting, but would I just be buying somebody else's headache with no warranty?

On many things, "refurbished" just means it was returned to the store for whatever reason; customer didn't like it, didn't know how to use it, screwed it up, and on and on. Most of the time these things are checked out, made sure to work, given any minor repairs as needed, and then sold as refurbished. Refurbished items can be a good value. I see no problem in this case.

90 day warranty from SuperGen, I like that! Thanks for the recommendation.

  • Several of them listed on ebay, just search Champion Refurbished Generators. They are priced $349 to $399.
  • I haven't heard of one going bad yet. Where abouts are they selling them at?
