You can plug any propane item into them. CampChef stoves or the like, barbecues ect all work. I use mine, had a hose with a quick connect made up on one end and a typical propane connection on the other so I can hook up most anything. Don't use the hose that comes with the propane item as its usually regulated and if your quick connect comes off after the trailer regulator its already regulated. Some propane items can be a problem to run if they have an internal regulator such as a colman camp stove that runs off green bottles. You need to check your line and see if it comes off before or after the trailer regulator as that dictates if you need a regulator line or not.
