Regulated propane quick connect -who connects what?

My third trailer. All have a propane quick connect underneath the camper to plug in accessories. What do people use this for? Stove? BBQ? Anything else? Why can't you find stuff to plug into these ...

My 1990 Bounder has a hose connection before the regulator. It does not have a QD.
