I remember the first time I really saw that in an impact wrench. I was a kit of about 16 or so, needed to swap the pulley and fan from old alternator to new. Strap wrench to hold the fan, breaker bar on the nut nothing. Took to local shop, the mechanic set the alternator on the workbench grabbed a impact wrench and shop rag! Placed the shop rag over the fan blades and gripped it, then put the impact wrench on the nut and gave it a hit off came the nut!! I figured it would have ripped the rag right out of his hand.
Now days one of my go to tools!!!
