Removing converter and adding charger, inverter, + solar

I recently purchased a 21 ft 1971 Coachman travel trailer. It has an updated electrical system but it is still at least 15 years old I would say. It has a converter with a charger (not a 3-way) and no...

yeah that converter is the pits, no charging mode
although you could re-wire around the switch and make it a permanent hookup power to the battery and tt, it would depend on what the voltage is, whether or not it would charge the battery

replacing with the iota would give you smart charging
