- Jim_StehnExplorerThanks everyone for the tips. I think the heat gun approach will work the best for the decals I have. They are real thick, 3-D type decals so the solvent approach may not work as well. I had asked the dealer to not put them on but I guess the prep guys got to the unit before the salesman caught it.
- New stuff a heat gun or hair drier should work fine with a plastic scraper.
Older stuff or hard to remove go with the 3M eraser wheel (amazon).
Use Rapid Remover to clean any residue.
I have used all these items and they work very well. JoeH wrote:

Same with new vehicles. I usually will remove them during walk around before signing papers or have dealer remove if I can't. They seem a little dismayed with this, I tell them I don't advertise for free. Knock off $500 and we'll talk.
I also have the dealer remove them before I'll accept the vehicle.
I specifically asked the dealer NOT to put his on once the trailer came in.. I actually had him write it on the agreement..
.. At time of pick up , there were 3 on there... I refused delivery.. they were gone in the matter of minutes..
Anyway , to the OP . heat gun and plastic scraper with little pressure.. followed by some goo gone and wax- Cool_CanuckExplorerI also use a heat gun or hair dryer. If they have been there for awhile the finish will probably show where they were. A polish like 3M restorer wax will blend it in.

I removed them with a heat gun three days after purchase. No problem
That worked great for me as well. Just hold the gun about 8~10" away and pull them off. Leaves no residue behind and doesn't make a mess. - HalmfamilyExplorerSame with new vehicles. - Shadow_CatcherExplorerThe solvent that will likely work is an orange cleaner or alcohol.
- beemerphile1ExplorerHeat gun/hair dryer to warm them and they will likely peel right off. I removed over 35 decals and stickers from my Aliner.
- OasisbobExplorerGreat post and solutions. It is amusing to me that so many RV manufacturers plaster their name with such large graphics. That can work for or against them but it is annoying.
