Removing dealer decals

My coach as big thick, ugly decals that the dealer stuck on. Is there a good way to remove them without damaging the underlying painted surface?

  • Great to hear others have the same disdain for those #$%%^ decals

Get them off ASAP the longer they stay in place the harder it will be

    X2

Heat gun, or DW Hair dryer.:B
  • I used Turtle Wax bumper sticker remover. Worked great with no damage to the trailer.
  • I removed them with a heat gun three days after purchase. No problem
  • 3M eraser wheel will remove them without damage. I made the dealer remove them or I would not accept delivery. I am not their rolling billboard.
  • I don't have an answer to your question but I'm sure someone has removed them that will share how it was done.

Whenever we purchase a new vehicle we have them add a clause to the bill of sale stating that no advertisement of any sort will be on the vehicle at time of delivery. I firmly believe if I am advertising for anyone that they should pay me to do so.
