Removing old sealant
I am replacing the ceiling vent in the fiver with a Maxxair Fan, the instructions say remove ALL old sealant from flange. Is there any thing that will make this go a little easier?

If you have an oscillating multi tool they make special blades for cutting through caulk - I have used on RV and home and find them very useful.
