AM Solar did a test of flexible panels and decided not to offer them for sale. There biggest problem was that the cells would become dish shaped and collect water when the panel is installed horizontally. Here's a link:

I will be mounting the panel I purchased vertically on the side of my coach so this probably won't be an issue for me.
