I will be mounting the panel in a frame so I'm not concerned much about the heat generated. The heat factor would be a combination of the sun heating the panel and the current flow. I doubt that it would heat up enough to damage the fiberglass.
I was wondering where the panels could be bent (along the seam line between solar cells only?) and what was the minimum bend radius that is allowed for both a forward and a backward bend? I can't find this information or even a discussion on these subjects on any of the sites that I have looked at. Also I was wondering what effect the heat output from the bottom of the solar cells has on the fiberglass surface.
