OP HERE - Thank you for the advice! I am going to bet I did not hook up the battery first.
I purposely skipped the "Quick Set-Up" instructions, figuring I would learn more reading the detail part. Guess where the statement to hook up the battery first was - Yes, in the Quick Set-Up!! Discovered that after you brought it to my attention...that'll teach me to read EVERY part!
I plan to attack the panel again tomorrow. Did not have a chance today.
