Some people in this situation - but you are not "there" yet, and I hope won't be - tend to live it up. Buying the best, spending it all. Because you can't take any luggage on that train.
Nobody tried to start this kind of pissing contest, though. It doesn't have to be the most expensive, but it should be adequate to purpose. You don't need a 30A MPPT charger for 100W panel. And you don't need a charger that doesn't work. Or the one that doesn't have a proper voltage or is not 3-stage - in this case I would not pay anything at all, and ask the seller to pay ME money for shortening the life of my batteries :) ...
