Nope Trojan has not lost their mind.
Their temperature lifespan derate is a little pessimistic. But OEM keeps goosing specific gravity higher and higher to quell the sniveling and begging from the paisley shirt and fluorescent tie group.
Batteries that live and work in climates with hot summers and mild winters should lave their electrolyte adjusted. It has to be performed only when the accumulator is brand new. Specific gravity is adjusted from 1.280 to 1.270
The process has a formal name universal in the battery industry

Then there is ARCTIC BLEND but let's not go there. I hate cold climes. At the moment it is a fresh 90F here (2030 hours). More comfortable than 102F at 1530 hours)
