This what I try to do. Trailer came with a switch between the WFCO converter (and DC distribution panel) and the battery. So anytime I equalize (>15V), I throw this switch and the WFCO, and all appliances fused through the DC distribution panel, get disconnected from the batts. If there's no switch, you could just disconnect that cable from the batts.
