Thank you, pianotuna, I appreciate the cheapness! I do have trouble understanding your brevity, though :).
I have some long, heavy-gauge jumper cables.
Charging time is 4-6 hours per day with my 30amp charger.
How would I charge directly from the van? Googling it, I see that connecting the house battery directly to the one under the hood is likely to blow up the van's computer. Do I connect to the alternator?
Sorry, I do not quite understand this one.
Do you mean an inverter or an inverter-generator? I do have a big inverter.
Are you saying to connect the non-generator inverter directly to the van (not to another house battery)? To the alternator? To the battery under the hood while van is running? Does that not run into the same van computer blowing up problem? And the 4-6 hours.

Cheapest Option
Install a charging path using #8 wire (or larger) from the van to the RV. Run the van one hour a day, or as needed. 16 feet #6 with clamps

Next Cheapest but allows for some side benefits.
Purchase an inverter that will run the 30 amp charger. Run the van one hour per day, or as needed. Side benefit is 120 volt power to be used for amenities.
