Many thanks to the OP and repost for this very easy project and with many pictures.

My older eu2000i was running rough and finally quit, I put this off thinking it was going to be a pain in the butt, boy was I wrong.

No wonders it stopped working.

After giving everything a good cleaning with carb cleaner, some scrubbing with a brass brush, changing the oil & sparkplug. A few pulls and fired right up purring like a kitten. Maybe 45 minutes total.
