There some of you guys go again.
Some of you should be really ashamed of yourselves for constantly coming onto someone else's post and taking it so far off track, you won't ever get the train back up the embankment.
A small group, on this forum, just jump on and start debating amongst themselves about v', amps, Shunts and all these important things, about solar, but nothing about answering the poor OP's question. He came back on and then asked about a follow-up question, because he had to ask someone off this Forum to find out that what he is thinking, might not meet his needs. What do you guys do? Ignore him and keep on talking about shunts and amps. What does that have to do with the original question? "Install Recommendations?"
While many of you are very knowledgeable and very helpful with the information you share, but do you have to get on and hijack a post to discuss topics that are not even relevant to the original and follow-up question of the OP.
One only has to go back through this thread to figure out who these posters are, ones that are talking amongst themselves. Go check out the other threads, on Solar here in Tech, and you will quickly see it is the same people, every time, hijacking threads. Enough! Use your great experience and knowledge to help people, that are asking questions and not you guys just sitting around a campfire trying to talk over each other and not even noticing the person that asked the original question has got up from the campfire, and walked back to his Camper and shut the door.
Start your own thread, if you are so interested talking around the campfire, and talk to each other late into the night.
On topic. I still recommend AM Solar and it is worth the drive there. Beautiful country and can be a great trip in late fall. They have hookups at the Business site, WHERE THEY DO DO INSTALLATIONS. There are many installers out there, make sure they are up on installs on RVs and have the system thoroughly designed, not just a sum of cheap parts.
OP, you might want to start a new thread on your latest question. It is a good topic and you should get many good suggestions and the Cons, for having a portable system.
I raced for many years and have my fire suit here and ready.
