Shame that the Danfoss powered 12-24v DC compressor fridges are so expensive, because they will use about half the electricity as a residential fridge on an inverter will.
I got a 1.8 cubic foot fridge with a danfoss BD35f compressor, that has extra insulation, and a very well ventilated condenser, and it averages 0.62 Amp hours per hour consumption in 75F ambients as I use it, and my Door seals are questionable and could easily be improved upon.
My one 800 watt MSW inverter uses 0.68 AH each hour, turned on, powering nothing.
