Rewiring battery bank to charger/inverter, couple of ?'s

What amps are you expecting the inverter to draw from those four batts? That 15 ft of #4 is kind of thin for that distance for higher draws.

The inverter instructions will advise on its wiring needs.

You could use the same wire by doubling the pos side with parallel runs of #4 and use the frame for the neg, but it is not ideal.(kind of thing I would do :( ) You have to fuse both pos wires if you do that BTW.
