I'm really sorry if it sounds like I'm nitpicking but I think doubling wiring smaller than 1/0 is against code. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that. I know people do it and IMO double #4 is MORE than adequate for 45 amps. Since you want to upgrade your inverter to the 3000W eventually, make that run a single 2/0 instead then you can double that up when you get the new inverter. Yeah, WAY overkill for now but just right for later.
