I'll add that you should limit it's use if you're relying on 12v.

The "Climate Control" switch controls a 12 volt heat tape behind the metal frame around the refrigerator and freezer doors.......it should only be used if condensation on the frame is noted.

Helps reduce condensation around the door seal in humid weather.
It also draws down the battery if you are not on shore power.
