The Trimetric reads the battery voltage no matter what is going on. It was reading 0.1v high compared with battery voltage with my meter at the batteries so I dialed down the Trimetric voltage reader by 0.1v The other meter is on different batteries and also reads high so I just have to remember that.
They are each on long wires to their battery banks and I suppose there must be some current for the meter to work so there is some voltage drop with that current. I get brain scramble from figuring out which direction the drop should go, but I thought that ASC example would say.
So what is the proper interpretation for which way the drop drops? There is no doubt my monitor reading was high and how to fix that.
