Roof ac algae build up

What is a safe product to use on RV ac to help prevent algae buildup causing water leak inside? I use plain ole chlorox for home use, but do not think appropriate for Rv roof material, much less dripping down the side(s).
Also, if oxyclean is used to help clean condenser is it necessary to rinse off?
Seems I have found a 'new' project to do-any and ALL ideas are/will be welcomed.
This pollen is really doing a number on the condenser....ucky stuff...
Thanks in advance.

    Prevent,,,can not help you

Clean up: Spic & span, Water, Mop at least 2 or more times per year.
  • Sometimes that is not algae but Green Mold. Real common in the south.
AND that stuff gets all over your coils too.

When I was down in Florida the RV mobile repair guy strongly recommended I buy a product called Mold Armor.

And btw you do NOT have to buy both the cleaner and blocker.
Just buy the blocker. This will prevent it from coming back.

Don't use on the painted surface of your RV.

  • You don't want to use petroleum products. I use Dawn with a little bleach in warm water. Use the same mixture for awning. You could just go to Camping World and buy one of the commercial cleaners they sell.
