Hold the horse, change of plans. I've done some math.
If I make a box in kitchen cabinet close to frig vent, and run #6 from there to controller, my losses will be the same as if it were #8 from roof box. No roof box, no UV/waterproofing pain. Don't need a heat shrink now, I guess. Need a small indoor box. And terminals to put in there. Can't remember anything with bus bars other than AM Solar box. They do make it hard on us...
