Got my eternabond from Big Rock Supply.

I went to Great Plains RV and got some self-leveling Lap Sealant. I believe it's made by Dicor. It seems to be good stuff. It should be dry by tonight. I think I'm going to spray the Flex Seal rubber over top of it just for insurance. The guy that sold it to me there said it's the same stuff their service techs use when repairing roofs. $10 a tube though. Also for $10 each I got two rolls of eternabond that are 2"x4'. Not sure what I can use them for. I'll probably just save them in case of emergency while out camping.

To answer your question yes I have used it on a friends leaking roof in the rain and it did stop the leaks. Having said that I would not use it on your roof or the Kool Seal but use a good caulking or tape around all the openings to stop the leaks first. After the leaks are stopped then you can coat it with an Acrilic coating like Kool Seal, Buscote, Henry 287 etc to reflect the sun.

Sounds like you need to re-calk that coach top to bottom. Not a big deal, takes a tad to get used to but once you have done it once it's very easy.

Yep you are correct. It is in fact a metal roof. I will look into this Koolseal. It is primarily leaking around the vents and basically anything else attached to the top. There is already some type of sealant on there but it's old and cracking.

What type of roof? It really matters

Scott's suggestion is spot on, IF it's a rubber membrane roof.

I'm guessing from the motorhome you are showing, I'm going to guess that it's a metal roof, covered with a sealer. When I had that type of roof I usually used Koolseal

The cheapest place I've found for Eternabond is either on-line or at a roofing supply place that carries supplies for commercial roofs.
