1. If he has HWH jacks, there is NO adjustment to fix jack extending in transit
2. Odds are he has the 300/321 series HWH jacks. The manual CLEARLY states that you MUST push the HWH STORE button every time you start the engine for travel. The 300/321 series jacks can slightly extend from road heat or the hose routed too close to a chassis heat source. By pushing STORE, you put the system into hibernation and IF a jack slightly extends in transit, the system will wake up and open the offending jack solenoid to allow the jack to retract fully. This will happen BEFORE the down light or alarm sounds
3. IF it happens in Transit, you do not have to stop, just push the STORE button and the offending jack will retract.
4. He may also have a BAD seal in that jack and it is not fully retracting. But, that would keep it from retracting when he stops and manually retracts.
5. There is NO WAY a HWH jack can come down more than a few inches if the springs are connected. So, in transit, you do not have to worry about the jack extending far enough to create a hazard. Doug
