When I had an electrician install my RV outlet, I considered doing a 50A, but at that time copper wire had become VERY expensive, and the cost difference was very significant. So I just went with 30, it kerps the batteries charged, lights on, TV use occcasionally, and one AC occasionally. I uderstand that the prices have dropped a lot since then, so not I would do 50A.
