RV Heat Pump & Gas Heater
My thermostat RV Comfort HP will not let my roof heat pump come on and also when set to Gas heat it will not come on. Could it be the thermostat is bad?

Lets start with basics. Make shure your thermostat is turned up enough to call for heat. Next make shure you are in the right MODE and right Zone. Now is the furnace sparking and trying to light? The basic sequence is the fan has to come on to purge the furnace then the gas valve opens then the igniter will spark. The furnace will try a about 3 times to light then will shut down and will need to be re set to try again. You need good 12V power to the fan to open the sail switch.
