interesting thread. I was up in the rim country in AZ for a week prior to Easter. Most of the week with family and friends. last in came up with his new TT. First trip out and he was last as his fresh water tank dropped out as he was leavin his neighborhood. Called the Dealer and extended warranty co. Neither would come out to fix it. But that is another story.
My 96 TC has an Onan ulta lite onboard 130 hours. Started fine in Phoenix before I left. Got to Happy Jack in rim country altitude about 7000 ft. No interest in starting. Got back to Phoenix and fired right up again I run a CPAP at night so need to recharge batteries each day. My 7.3 powerstroke s a pretty big backup.
now last in gets there and sets up beside me. Brand new never out of the box Ryobi. Sets up camp out comes the Ryobi. Fires right up. He asked why my diesel was running. I explained my tale of woah and out came the extension cord. It spent the rest of the weekend powering both our units. $600.0 at Home Depot. His only complaint was no remote start.
Based on a 3day trial I would say it was a great value. or those that use generators the Ryobi is quite as a church mouse. For those that don't well could never be quite enough.
