?'s on "genturi" generator exhaust extension
Who uses it? does it really work? Design flaws? I was thinking of getting one once I get a Class C. Thanks!

I have one and used it for the first time the past week, it was very calm and during these situations we usually get some exhaust smell. I did notice that there was a difference in the sound of the generator, less exhaust sound more cooling air sound. I don't know if the cooling fan noise increase was due to the ground below the generator(hard surface vs soft sand)or the reduction in exhaust noise.
I built it my self and it cost about $60 vs twice that at CW. It was worth it for personal satisfaction. I used a triple wall drain pipe from Lowes because it had a white exterior. I had the connecting elbow made to fit my exhaust pipe. I am going to have an extension made to move the end of the elbow inside the 3" pipe to see if there is any further reduction in the sound. So far we like the effect.
