I don't know if altitude effects it, but the weather cite it was locked up on was at about 6,500 feet. I also had several blank pages when you scrolled your thumb across the screen and one of my grandkids deleted the blank pages do I didn't have to scroll through so many pages looking for my flashlight app. Maybe that did it. Mr. Wizard always seems to come through for me.
