Satellite only works connected directly to DVR

I have a Winegard Carryout Portable Satellite. All of a sudden it will only work when connected directly to the DirecTV DVR. It will search and search but says it finds no satellite (signal strength...

Never heard that about connectors before. I've seen the blue connectors. Are they just more moisture proof?

Just read more about the blue insert RG6 connector. More moisture proof. A little pricey but worth it if there is a moisture problem
