Satellite Service in Rochester, MN area

We just purchased a 2002 Fleetwood Flair that is equipped with Satellite and antenna. My husband and I are electronically impaired and we cannot figure out how to get either to work. I have Direct TV at home and we have brought one of our receivers with us but we do not get anything. Would like to know what we need to do and would like to have someone show us. Do not know who to call about this. Suggestions?

    Did you ever aim a dish ? And you dint say a word about what type of antenna, dish, or dome it is.
    But before that, is the tv seeing the satellite receiver ? Namely, is there any type of direct tv logal on the screen, or a "no signal" reading etc on the screen ? No matter what the dish, antenna problem mite or mite not be, the tv must see the sat receiver. Once you have that, then it is a dish aiming, or a dish compatability issue.

    Can you ask the place where you purchased the unit? In Rochester there is a Universal RV and Marine dealership (where I got my Class A) and they have treated me well. You might ask them.
