We're out camping at the moment. I saw this at the campground and remembered all the discussion around refrigerator fires:

MEX, I think it is a refrigerant leak that starts the fire not any of the automatic electronic controls.
I thought it was the thin metal used in the boiler that fails.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
