Sea Foam. Now I'm a believer

Hope this is an acceptable topic for Tech issues.

I have read on these forums for years about the praise others have bestowed on Sea Foam gasoline additive. I never tried it until recently in my Honda 2000's and in my chain saw. The generators had become difficult to start, over the years, when cold and my Poulan chain saw had worn me to a frazzle, trying to start it and keep it running.

I added Sea Foam to the fuel tanks and couldn't believe the difference. The Hondas start on the first or second pull and the chain saw behaves better than new. I'm looking for trees to cut up.

After all the posts I've read here I finally tried it and can't believe what I have put myself through before trying this stuff.

I do not have any commercial interest in the product but am a promoter from now on.

  • Thanks for the info. I've been a believer for years.

It made a big difference in my portable generator and my snow blower.

(I'm sure someone like Newman fulltimer will ask, what's a snow blower? :M)
  • My Honda was like that from the factory. I ran SF through it over a period of 6 hours of straight run time and it was like a different machine.
I also got a 10 y/o car that only had 4K miles on it. Needless to say, fuel had been allowed to sit in it many times and it ran terrible. @ cans of SF fixed it right up!
Now I run it in my gen when ever I use it.
I dont believe in most snake oils but this one actually works. I tried other injector cleaners and none did anything.
