This guy is an idiot pusher for seafoam ! In the 1st place I saw very little difference tween the 1st and 2nd. And some....if not all of us know that just plain water does the same thing, and probably better. Water is what dealerships always used when an engine had a piston noise suspected of being a carbon knock. And I have stood right there and see the noise go away. They held the throttle wide open, and control the RPMs w/ the water quantity.For $9 I'd have expected something,....but then, most of us are not surprised I'd bet.

I put a can of seafoam in my Subaru after every oil change. It does work. You can buy it on sale for $6.74 a can, well worth the money.

The kid did a great job. It's old school vs new school. Water was an old trick that would blow engines because the steam made way too much pressure for the engine to handle if done wrong. It was a trick of last resort. The kid knew enough, and even mentioned it a few times to warn people with his Seafoam. With fuel injection you will not get the carbon build up like in the old days. What he viewed as a carbon problem old school would view as fairly clean. Letting the Seafoam sit on the piston head was sure proof the stuff works using his camera technique. Kudo's to the kid, all he needs is some mentoring, but he's doing a fine fine job. Been using Seafoam for over 40 years, it does what it says.

Water might work for carbon deposits, despite the risks of hydro-locking the engine and destroying it, but I suspect the water would do little for gummed up carb or injectors. Okie tuneups aside, ya might wanna consider what Feasome does to the inside deposits of an older gas tank, you know, the tank with the three hundred dollar fuel pump with nothing but a STRAINER between it and the Feasome miracle. Yes that's the one! The three hundred dollar fuel pump that takes 3.8 hours to R&R the pump at a hundred dollars an hour labor rate. Now THAT'S A MIRACLE.

I'll give things a go with SeaFoam, as I mentioned in another thread, but I just wonder if these fuel additives are more hype than help. Used as a fuel stabilizer, different story... but it will be interesting if I can get my Yamaha 3000iSE back to starting at one tug of the rope, as it used to come this weekend.
