My folks purchased a COLD SPOT chest freezer from Sears in 1952. In 1977 running 24/7/365 they moved away into an apartment. The freezer never quivered.

I have a question for you - how many of you would pay double the price for something that lasted twice as long and was repairable via module replacement at a (minor) fraction of the price of a new unit?
