Secure TV during travel

I just installed a 19" Naxa NT1907 in my TC. There was already a wall mount installed (2 arm style). The set isn't that heavy but the spec claims 5# (I'd guess half that). I noticed that the mount without TV will sometimes swing out from the wall during travel if we hit a bump right/wrong. Since this mount doesn't have a locking mechanism, I'm curious if there is a standard approach to secure it?

So far, I'm considering:
* Bungee cord around set to base of mount
* Heavy duty velcro on 2nd arm to base plate
* Replace mount with unit that includes lock

Any thoughts?

    This is what I was originally going to get, but the RV center said there's a lot of junk for cheap, so I shyed away from ordering it.

    Most TV mounts with swing arms have bolts that can be tightened at the pivot points. Remove the plastic covers and tighten slightly until your TV stays in place.

    I can't see your setup but I drilled holes in the arms of a couple of mounts and used sliding patio door locks to keep them in place.

    Our big set is on a slanted surface and gravity makes it extend. The previous owner ran nylon straps from the face frame to the side of the set and installed smaps ont the strap and TV housing.

    I don't like the set but too lazy to change it and install hidden lock.

    You don't buy RV supplies from an RV center unless you want to waste money. There are many mounts available online for a fair price, just Google "locking RV TV mount"

    Yes, just enough to hold it in place.

    I would buy the correct mount and forget about bungees, eye-bolts and Velcro.

    Bungee will work, just don't make it too tight. Our TT came with a nylon strap and plastic buckle to secure the tv.

    I talked to the RV center. They said they typically install a couple eye-bolts and just use bungee with hooks. I picked up a bungee from HD so I'll see how secure that is.
