I don't know if you participated in my thread about that but the consensus was I still needed an alternator that would be happy with continuous high amps even with the external rectifier. I like Pnick's idea of dual alternators. Keep the stock one and add in a 250 amp marine or something along with it. If anything, MEX can point you to a good alternator for that purpose.
