I did that test comparing aimed vs tilted vs flat when light was perfect, and in May at 49N, the proportions were 90/70/56 for daily AH haul--but that might not be a valid way to do it.
So if your array is rated 800w, it will do 56/90 x 800 = 498w same situation. Flat would do better farther south of course.
Another way to do that is with the max current at high noon where flat was 7.2a vs 8.3 aimed with that panel. So 7.2/8.3 x 800 = 694w That might be a better way to compare them, but I don't know what the voltages were, so not sure about actual watts.
Then you have to reduce the watts some more for panel heating (10% reduction if panels are at 50C instead of 25C) when doing your calculation for what input watts the MPPT controller gets to play with to make its output from.
