You have open back twiller and pointing direct to sun of assumed 1000.
not sure they try and connect 20C with 800, what they do is measure a panel in 800 light when it is 20C, open back, 1m/s breeze and the result is 45C (16vVmp) for a specific '12v' kyocera and higher/lower for other panels.
Yes I was reading that wrong about the two temps STC vs NOCT.
My panel specs say STC is with "cell" temp of 25C, but NOCT is with "ambient" 20C. Both with "spectrum 1.5", so the real thing they are saying is that "normal" is all about 800 vs 1000
I don't see the value of having the two sets of ratings. They might be moving the goalposts because people complain they hardly ever see the STC ratings? And who decided that 800 is "normal"?
