Should batteries be disconnected when on shore power?

My rvs have Intellipower something or other converter chargers with fancy battery charging... Should I be disconnecting the house batteries when on shore power for extended periods? Or do the ba...

My units have battery disconnect switches. I disconnect when the trailers are parked not being used.

Thanks for the replies re: disconnecting or not while connected to shore power/camping.
