Shower Door handle problem

Hi all, we have a new 2015 3100RL Keystone Montana. When traveling the shower latch came open which I've read is a problem. Anyway, the handles on the shower door came off and I need to replace them. I am getting very frustrated with Keystone and Camping World. All I want is a model or part number and everyone says I have to bring it in, have service look it up and then order it. We had a FR Cardinal for 13 years and have been FT for 9 years so we know how things work. If anyone has a website for RV parts I can review that would be great. Thanks for letting me vent.

  • Go to your local auto glass dealer-the one who replaces windshields. They do a lot more than windshields and windows. Many install shower walls and doors and can be quite elaborate.
  • Try these folks. TREKWOOD Maybe you can find it there.

Our shower latch/handle fell off, it was re-glued to the glass (epoxy) and fell off again. After that I squeezed the two flanges together (while it was off the door) that "sandwich" the glass to make the latch keep spring pressure on the glass, re-glued it again, and it has been fine since. You might want to try that.
  • The handles on your shower might not be the same as the ones used on the same model of campers built the week before or after.

Manufacturers change or substitute parts all the time.

Posting a photo of what you have might get you a resonse from someone who recognizes your handles. Or your might get suggestions for better ones since your type are known to have issues.
