There is an adjustment for this on these pumps. This happened on a brand new pump, so the dealer called Shureflo, and got the adjustment info. It is a tiny allen screw adjustment some where near where the positive wire connects to the pump. I can't remember the details but the adjustment worked.
youtube ...google the information is out there...just adjusted on my new trailer...had to do the same on my old trailer when it was new.
