Prosine can charge at 100 amps and will easily overload the generator if the limit settings on the Prosine are not adjusted. No harm, Honda just stops supplying power. Could be frustrating at 2a and you need power.
This what I did with mine so I didn't have to deal with alligator clips and the box top. I installed a 4' wire set with rings on the battery end and Anderson connector on the other end that matched the connector from my portable panel.
