Simple Electrical help, TT 50 amp to Home 15 amp

Hello again all. Please bear with this total noob question, and thanks in advance for your help.

My TT came with this 15 amp adapter. Am I correct its a 15 amp male and a 30 amp female?

Obviously most of you can tell that my TT is a 50 amp and they gave me that little adapter pictured above...

Would this link below plus the adapter pictured above, be what I need to hook up to an extension cord at home to charge my battery and turn on lights and most importantly will I be able to run the fridge 24 hours before we head out on a trip

Link to 50 amp female and 30 amp male

What else could I do with just 15 amps to my trailer? I know running the AC is out of the question. Like I said above being able to charge the battery and cool the fridge before a trip are my number one hopes for this.
  • In order to connect your 50A rig to 15A household outlet you need the 50A female to 30A male adapter like the one in your link. Connect your OEM power cord to RV outlet then plug it into adapter.

And you will also need a good 30A female to 15A male adapter. Throw that 'puck' adapter away. They are junk, overheat.

    Get one like this.....

Using household outlet you can charge batteries, run fridge (level it), and sometimes can even get away with running A/C Unit.....depends on state of battery charge/how hard converter is working and items that may be on same circuit in house

    ON EDIT.......
    Just saw your new post.
Yes you can use that 50A twist lock to 15A adapter and a good grade extension cord to reach house outlet. At minimum 12 gauge cord
  • Well crud, just looked closer and the link I provide would not work cause it is not a 50 amp twist lock female.... Ill look some more to see if I can find something that will work.
