Simple fix turning into nightmare/fishing a wire ideas

I bought a USB inspection camera on Amazon for about 20 bucks. It's called a borescope and/or an endoscope. Rig a wire loop out in front of the camera and push it into the void while watching on your laptop. You should be able to locate and snag your wire.

Mine has a 16' wire, and it has LED lights that are adjustable for brightness.

These types of cameras are very handy and well worth the twenty bucks.
