Sat reciever must always run off inverter as UPS. This is 26W
4.5A charger charges 60W while sat reciever draws 26W--34 W net charge, while everything else runs off gennie. 100ah of batts require 12 hours to recharge from overnight use (60w fan).
200W meanwell takes 100% of the 450W gennie. Everything else (laptop, sat, fan, hard drives, etc) must run from inverter.
200W meanwell takes 50% of a 900W gennie (I'm guessing). HOWEVER, once I take delivery of the new 900W gennie I'm going to try and run my 6000btu air conditioner from it, along with the meanwell. This means that everything else STILL has to run from inverter while recharging from overnight use.
Currently I'm only running a 60w fan overnight, everything else is turned off. But I really want to run my sat and laptop evernight so I can record sports events that primarily get shown at night, such as the Tour de France right now. I'm hoping that two more 35ah batts can do this for me, but this means that even with the 200w meanwell I'm back to recharging all day long.
Yes, I have solar, but it doesn't work on cloudy days!
